Pure PTFE yarn packing reinforced with aramid corner is an interlock braided packing which is using pure PTFE yarn and reinforced with aramid fiber yarn corners. The aramid fiber yarns are pretreated with PTFE dispersion, plus a break-in lubricant to reduce the coefficient of friction, as well as the frictional heat created by high shaft speeds.

Pure PTFE yarn packing reinforced with aramid corner with its unique combination of PTFE and aramid fibers, is dimensionally stable, non contaminating, has excellent lubricating and running characteristics, and because of the aramid corners, is very wear resistant. It handles acids, alkalis, and a broad range of chemicals. It is well suited for service in rotary and reciprocating pumps, mixers, agitators and reactors, especially where abrasive wear is a problem.

Pure PTFE yarn packing reinforced with aramid corner is suitable for fine powders including sugar and other food stuffs, in addition it is resistant to a wide range of chemical media including water, steam, salt solutions, alkalis, organic solvents, mild acids, hydrocarbons and moderate chemical services. Most suited for rotary and plunger pumps, mixers and valves.
