This gasket is comprised of a high-strength reinforced phenolic materials gasket compressed between 2 conformable Nitrile NBR layers. The type F Flange Insulation Gasket Kit is a version were the gasket is centered between the bolts. This gasket is suitable for use in raised-face flanges up to ANSI class 600 and is excellent for isolating flanges made of dissimilar metals or where prevention of flange face corrosion is desired.
