PTFE packing with hollow silicone rubber core is made from graphited
PTFE Yarn and then with a core of specific grade hollow silicone rubber
core, the silicone rubber core offers a combination of the highest
chemical resistance and temperature ability and allows the packing to
continually seal on pumps that are less than perfect mechanical
condition. The outside braided yarn is a combination of graphite
fluorocarbon and oil to promote the maximum sealing and wear resistance.
This graphite PTFE packing with hollow silicone rubber core was
especially designed for pumps where there is an axial or elliptical
shaft run out.

PTFE packing with hollow silicone rubber is specifically designed to
seal large rotating equipment like mixers and agitators. Testing has
proven that a high quality braided packing with a silicone rubber core
will outlast conventional packing in applications associated with
excessive shaft deflection on large shafts. And graphite PTFE packing
with hollow silicone rubber is used for pumps where there is an axial or
elliptical shaft run out. Seals on pumps with less than perfect
mechanical conditions. High pressure valve packing, worn pumps, or
deflecting shafts. Valves, centrifugal pumps, rotary pumps,
reciprocating pumps. Especially designed for large rotating equipment
like mixers and agitators
